Pleasure & Business aircraft insurance If you fly your aircraft for fun or for your work then you want a policy that covers Pleasure & Business use. These policies are usually written with very broad coverages. A few of the insurance companies offer automated quoting which makes for more uniform and consistant rates. N.A.I.A. can provide you with quotes from all the insurance companies provided they choose to offer terms. With the automated systems most quotes can be obtained within an hour or two from numerous insurance companies provided you meet the underwriting guidelines set up in the automated systems. If you do not qualify under the insurance companies automated guidelines then the process takes a little longer. N.A.I.A. will contact the underwriters at each company for further review. Please keep in mind this will not be a quick process and could take a few days to get a result. While this might take a few days you will be provided with every option available to you and not just a single result. Each company has it's own definition of Pleasure & Business (read your policy or call N.A.I.A to discuss) they generally do not allow you to charge any money for a flight.
