History
N.A.I.A. was founded by Marc Freudenberg. Freudenberg was an underwriter for one of the nation's largest aviation insurance companies. During his employment he underwrote many different types of aviation insurance but he specialized in commercial operators, one of the most difficult product lines in aviation insurance to be successful. He underwrote everything from incidental commercial operations, aerial applicators, flight schools, turbine transitions to 135 operators. Freudenberg, a multi-engine & Instrument rated pilot, enjoyed the underwriting side but he saw a need for better representation of the aviation insurance consumer and decided to resign from his position and form National Aviation Insurance Agency, Inc. (N.A.I.A.)
